This leadership marketing role is with a major hair salon and spa enterprise that is privately owned.  Operating nearly 1,000 salons in 16 states, with more than 12,000 stylists, reporting to the President, managing a team of 12 with 3 direct reports. Based in the Washington D.C./Bethesda/ N. VA area. The environment is highly entrepreneurial and fast paced.

The ideal candidate will have a great deal of experience in social marketing and know how to evaluate which  areas of social marketing are appropriate for the company and develop the strategic plan and execution.  This person must also have a strong background in internal communications across all medium. PR and creative experience is a plus.  In addition this person needs to be a strong team player with their own team in mentoring and growing and also with their counterpart(s) within the organization. Someone who has the ability to negotiate, build consensus is key.
