The Senior Vice President will work with a high performance cross functional team to leverage the full suite of IRI analytics tools to identify and address a variety of critical client issues including those related to spending efficiency, consumer targeting, marketing mix analysis, pricing strategy and portfolio analysis.

The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with gravitas. Able to build senior relations with the client, create value, understand the clients issues and develop solutions to solve these issues. Their knowledge base is CPG, strong pricing, brand planning and promotion background, how to apply marketing mix, and a general understanding of the interaction between business solutions and applied analytics. He/She will be a leader and have the ability to mentor and grow a team of seasoned professionals. Someone who is passionate about wanting to make an impact and contribute. She/He thrives on being a change agent/transformer, providing real solutions in a dynamic environment. Not only is this person well versed in using applied analytics to solve business issues they are a creative ,innovative thinker.
Background:
- 15 or more years of proven CPG experience in a highly consultative, research and data driven environment identifying and addressing client “pain points” and driving insights
- Depth of experience selling large solution oriented deals involving analytics in the CPG space
- Deep understanding of predictive analytics especially marketing mix and how they are applied for trade promotion management and optimization
- Deep knowledge in the business processes (Marketing and Trade Promotion Management and Optimization) that IRI products addresses -Exposure to pricing, forecasting, assortment and other management systems
- Capacity to tie quantitative tools to key client business issues
