Position: Vice President/National Sales Manager

We have been retained by a global prestige beauty brand to find the Vice President/National Sales Manager U.S. Several characteristics are both desired and necessary for this role:

  • Excellent ability to lead, manage, motivate and support the field
  • Demonstrated strength in building a cosmetics business with a strong reputation to partner with retailers in driving the business forward
  • Team player who will successfully partner with internal departments such as marketing, sales operations, public relations
  • A passion for the field
  • Position is NY based; we’re open to relocation with a preference for candidates who have NYC key market experience in the last 5 years

JOB SUMMARY / POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Responsible for the profitable short and long term growth of sales objectives and market share; oversee retail/net/P & L goals; budgets (co-op advertising, demo, tester refill, operating, and returns)
  • Achieve assigned U.S. Market Sales growth, Market Share, Financial Selling Expense budgets, P&L.
  • Develop and execute Corporate, Headquarter, and Account strategic annual plan and growth strategies.
  • Develop and maintain senior retailer relationships.
  • Execute new product and brand launches & seasonal marketing Strategies.
  • Achieve New Business Growth including new channels and markets.
  • Oversee Education Department strategies, training programs, and budgets to insure the brand message is communicated at all levels of the sales/training organization from field to counter personnel.
  • Collaborate with CEO and all supporting Departments towards achievement of all Sales and Selling Corporate objectives.
  • Insure professional HR management, position development and recruiting within company policy and HR guidelines.
